Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was quite the mixed bag. While the location near the Kinugawa River is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and reminiscent of a traditional ryokan, the service left much to be desired and the dining experience was lackluster. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, there are some things that need improvement.
My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing, primarily due to outdated facilities and poor dining experiences. The room was comfortable, but it came with an old smell, and the onsen was crowded and not as clean as I hoped. On a positive note, the location was excellent, close to both the station and beautiful views of the river, and the staff was friendly. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which offered a great onsen experience and had spacious and clean rooms. The location was great, just a short walk from Kinugawa Onsen Station. There were some drawbacks, like long check-in times due to tour groups and limited dining options, but overall, I found it to be good value for money.
This hotel offers a beautiful view overlooking a rushing stream and has decent onsen facilities, which I really enjoyed during my stay. The rooms were well-maintained and the price was quite reasonable for what was offered. However, some fixtures are starting to show their age and the location, while pleasant, is a bit far from local attractions.
I had a terrible experience at this hotel, definitely not what I expected from the reviews. While it was popular and had a long history, my stay was marred by long check-in times and outdated facilities. My wife and I enjoyed the traditional Japanese ambiance, but the dining setup felt more like a school canteen. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, as there are certainly better choices available.
